Reason # 52: With Friends like these 2.
Why do we need to defeat Donald Trump and ensure that a Democrat occupies the White House?
Yesterday we looked at the appointment by Donald Trump, of a group of individuals who were unsuited or incompetent to meet the qualifications needed to administrate a large and complex federal bureau. Much worse was to come. Many other Trump friends and appointees have not only been incompetent; they have been convicted of felonies, in his service.
Allen Weisselberg, Trump Organization CFO, pled guilty to 15 felonies including failure to pay taxes on $1.7 million. He was jailed and is obliged under the terms of a plea bargain to testify against his old boss in a future trial. .

Rick Gates a Trump campaign manager pled guilty to multiple federal charges including conspiracy and lies to investigators. Jailed.
Paul Manafort was convicted by a jury of tax and bank fraud and later pled guilty to separate charges of money laundering, witness tampering, lying to the Justice Department and lobbying irregularities. Sentenced to 7.5 years in jail. A mistrial was declared when the jury could not reach a verdict on ten other felony charges. The allegations against Manafort and Gates were particularly troubling because they included contacts with a large number of slimy Ukranian and Russian officials and bottom feeders, suggesting that the Trump campaign sought dirt on the Biden family and collaborated with Russian individuals and agencies that sought to influence the 2016 election.
Michael Cohen Trump lawyer and Trump Organization VP was convicted of tax and bank fraud and campaign financing violations and paying hush money to a porn star. Three-year jail sentence. Despite his turning state’s evidence, he served the longest term in prison.
George Papadopoulos, campaign aid pled guilty to lying to FBI investigators regarding Russian influence in the 2016 campaign. 12 days in jail.
And that is just part of the list of malefactors and perhaps not the worst. More tomorrow.
Do you really want to vote for a man with enough felon cronies to fill a cell block?
Have a heart; use your mind, search your conscience, and vote for Democratic candidates – across the ballot – on November. 5th.
